It is a testament to his writing and the sheer offensiveness of the so called centre-left, that I cheer when I read him on form. Here in rewarding form, illustrating the kind of adolescent nastiness that is at the heart of why Labour are so politically weak.

A common enemy doesn’t make me think him any less of a twat, but he gets a raw deal, he is more honest about his cuntdom than most of his colleagues. A fine and talented window through which we watch the implosion of the Labour Party. Safe from Miliband tantrums now he is away from the New Statesman. Who resolutely fail to offer the criticism Labour desperately needs.

He is not tearing Labour down, he is a tribal Labour boy through and through. Labour are dead as long as they keep on this trajectory…

Ed Miliband was never running the Labour Party though. His ¬†vain ‘progressive’ principleless stupidity, and that of those he surrounds himself with, was exploited by those who do. Who still can’t make their way work either. Which is not such good news for Dan. The unions are clearly not the ones running things, that’s WHY they are having to look outside parliament. How are Lord Goldsmith and chums doing these days and just how bad Labour’s finances…
